Children’s Hospital Colorado/University of Colorado Denver Neuro-oncology Fellowship Program

    Training
The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology fellowship is a one-year fellowship that provides education in the clinical care of pediatric patients with brain and spinal cord tumors. The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Fellowship involves training with experts in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychology, and Radiation Oncology. The year of fellowship includes frequent didactic sessions, journal club conferences, and a multidisciplinary CNS Tumor Board. Trainees are encouraged to conduct a research project during the fellowship with a clinical or translational focus. The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology group includes seven physicians, four of whom run translational laboratories that are productive, well-funded and maintain one of the largest CNS tumor banks in the nation and three of whom are actively involved in early-phase clinical trial development and conduct.
